Time flies
Seriously, if you’re interested, the best way to keep up with me is Twitter. I am, quite obviously, @frostimaging on Twitter.
Another place to follow what I’m doing and see my latest work? Facebook. frost imaging has a shiny, brand new page on Facebook and I would love it if you would click here and become a fan.
Thanks for coming by and and checking in.
For now, here is my favorite shot from a recent shoot for the North Museum. Dr. Marla Jones of Elizabethtown College holds a vial of strawberry DNA after a presentation on DNA extraction techniques.
I’m back
I’m back from our 8,500 drive around the US for Toyota. And yes, there are a ton of photographs to sort through, hours of video and hey, I might even unpack my bags at some point.
Point is, I’m here. New post, new photographs soon. Look for a couple of real, live, old-fashioned gallery shows featuring my work from the trip soon. Announcements soon.
Here’s one shot from the trip.

What’s new?
What isn’t would be the better question. I’ve been all over the place as the spring thaw continues.
There’s been a flurry of year end activity at Millersville University.
Here’s Vyner Award winner , Nate Sheffer playing the Jazz & Java event at MU.

And here’s Dr. Keith Wiley conducting the ensemble.

There’s a ton of new MU work, you can see it all here in the Millersville main gallery.
My good friend Jason Mundok held his first in a series of home concerts dubbed, The Wood Stove Concerts. They are amazing events and redefine the artist’s relationship with the audience (and the music is stellar to say the least). Here’s one shot of Jason and his ensemble, Living Fables.

Here’s something I don’t do very often, basic portraiture. Below is a shot from a set done for the girl’s first communion. I should do more of this stuff, it was a lot of fun.

A shot from a set of this year’s YWCA Race Against Racism.

A did a lot of shooting surrounding the Launch Music Conference. Here is one shot from a late night show at the Chameleon.

The best way to keep up on what I’m doing?
Drop me a line and ask. Or follow me on Twitter or check out the Facebook page. I’ll post updates once in awhile but I do most of the updating at Twitter.
It’s been almost a month
I’ve been busy but in truth, I’ve been ignoring you. I admit it. I could have stopped in a dozen times in the three or four weeks to post updates but I didn’t. I didn’t do this with the intention of hurting anyone’s feelings. I’m just pre-occupied with other matters and always, at the bottom of the list, was here.
That’s terrible and I apologize for that. So, what the heck have I been doing for the last month. Well, here’s a quick roundup.

This particular shot (and a few others like it) for JSID had me meeting three members of LGH’s security team. Once it was clear that I was shooting there for no nefarious purpose, I continued. This is the beautiful new Downtown Pavillion at LGH. Gallery here.

I’ve been shooting the ongoing sidewalk renovation around Penn Square for JSID. This is one of many shots from the work taking place there. It’s not really that exciting, if you’re interested, peruse the JSID galleries for more details.

Thanks for JSID. It seems all the work in the last month has been for them. This was a really fun night. I was asked to shoot some city porchlights for an upcoming publication. It was a blast and I think we got some great shots from the evening. The complete gallery is here.

Shot for an upcoming JSID publication. Shopping in downtown. We got some nice stuff and our volunteer models really delivered. The full gallery is here.

One shot from a recent MeetUp photowalk I attended. I met some amazing people and had a lot of fun. If you don’t participate in there but have ever wanted to, what are waiting for? The full gallery is here.

Shoot for visual comedian, Pete Geist. Geist is a genius at what he does. This shoot was a blast and to show you how enthusiastic I was during the shoot, in one hour we shot over 700 frames. Check out the whole gallery here (if you have the time).

Hempfield Softball for Schwanger Bros. It was cold. Really cold. Entire galleries here and here.

Identity
Joe Mitchell, the man behind College Row’s European Eyeware brought me in to do some product and identity work. I think the results came out quite nice.

Before European Eyeware opened Joe was involved with Olde Towne opticians on Duke Street and it was there that I met him as a loyal customer. Joe’s work is top shelf. His attention to detail and knowledge in fitting you is second to none. Perhaps as important, European Eyeware carries frames that no one else in the area does. The quality and uniqueness of the products European Eyeware have made me a committed customer long before I had the pleasure to work with them. All of which is to say, if you need glasses, go see Joe. You’ll get better, much more stylish and durable frames, personalized service and it won’t cost more than the “chain stores” and doctor’s offices charge. What more could you ask for?
On the road-Chicago
I flew to Detroit. DC and NYC are reasonably short regional drives at under three hours each way. Chicago, on the other hand, was eleven hours. If you count Indiana it was eleven hours and a lifetime. And with that said, the weather in Chicago was unusually beautiful. The day of the event it was in the low sixties with a perfect blue sky, in February, in Chicago. Amazing.
The Prius Connection in Chicago was the largest attended by over two hundred guests. The River East Arts Plaza was a beautiful venue.
One word; Indiana

On the road-Manhattan
Prius Connection Manhattan was appropirately ensconced in the Skylight Gallery in Tribeca.
