European Eyewear Valentine’s Day shoot

This was shot for a Valentine’s Day ad for Fine Living Lancaster Magazine. FLL turned the shot and the ad down, so we ran it in Fly Magazine with great results. FLL’s loss was Fly’s and European Eyeware’s gain.

European Eyeware

I’ve been doing more and more interesting shoots for European Eyeware. EE owner, Joe Mitchell has some great ideas and is always up for an adventure. This was shot for a Fly Magazine ad but we ended up using it (and many other shots from this session) all over the place.

Some samples of the portraits I shot at WeeBee Audio/Video which will soon appear on their new web site. Working WeeBee is fun because we’re not limited to stodgy, standard portraits. My favorite is of Kerry, the owner, on the right.

I say I don’t do a lot of portraiture and then I look through my files and I see I have little or no idea what I am talking about. Which is well that I’m a photographer and not a reporter.

Friend, author, computer information systems analyst and management strategist, Kevin Behr asked me to shoot something which might even adorn his next book jacket. Or maybe his web site. Either way, I was up for it in a heartbeat. After we did the serious stuff Kevin was kind enough to shoot a few casual shots. The one with the guitar being one of my faves.

Freshman

I shot a night and a day for Millesville. The night stuff was a candle ceremony that takes place after convocation and the day stuff was the downtown orientation tour they do with incoming freshman.

Bond, James Bond

I love me some James Bond so when the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors called me to ask if I would be interested in shooting their “Watches of Bond, James Bond” debut event, I had to kind of hold back a bit. It’s not often one gets paid to shoot something that I would have paid to see. Here are just a few shots from the event. Do go see the show, it runs through early next year.

North Museum

Shooting for North is always fun. The people are North are wonderful and truth be know, I’m a big geek. So it gives me a chance to wallow in a subject I love. This was for the debut of a new planetarium show featuring content producing by Sesame Street. When the children arrived the museum had a red carpet set up and the idea was that the kids would walk the red carpet as though they were stars, which the kids loved.
