Can I have a nap now?
It has been a crazy, hectic couple of weeks. I’m not even sure I remember what’s taken place. Good thing I have pictures.
Capping off the season this weekend is the annual MOOSE Dome Party. They’re Friday and Saturday nights and I’ll be there both night shooting for MOOSE. Here are a couple of preview shots from Thursday night’s preparations. You might notice (and you will definitely notice if you attend the parties) my images being projected on the sides of the dome as well as a video composed of my photographs for MOOSE over the last two years. It’s a wonderful, ego boosting thing for me, something which I seldom shy away from.
Even if you don’t have tickets the Dome is pretty cool. It’s worth the trip to Binn’s Park to see it.
And of course I’ll be posting the party shots early next week.
See you at the Dome.

Best of B/days
A belated Happy Birthday to my good friends Tony and Marty at Building Character. They celebrated their first anniversary in business and it’s already unthinkable what the City would be like without them. In just pursuing their own goals and passions both of them have created something entirely unique here in town and not only have they enjoyed some success but everyone here in Downtown has benefited, whether it’s their Sunday Market, their performance showcases or their fantastic Music and First Friday gatherings. We are all richer for having them here.
Opals
A beautiful black opal bracelet from Kathryn Pearce at Veleska. These were shot for the customer the bracelet was created for.
Goin’ to the country
My first and all too brief visit to Tucquan Glen…
