Need a home?

You can see images I shot displayed for Realtor, Gerry Beane at a site he created for the homeowner here. And sure, this is self-serving but it’s refreshing to see a real estate professional who really works hard for their clients. I’ve been looking at a lot of real estate in the last few months and most listings are a few cell phone images and a bad description. To me, it’s unthinkable someone would try to sell something worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in that manner but I suppose it used to work.

Well, it’s a different world now in real estate and Realtors like Gerry are the ones that I think will get well-deserved attention for their focus on detail and time invested.

And if you need a nice little home in Marrieta, check it out.

Recollection

Another week has gone by and it’s been one with a lot of field work. I’ll detail that below with an example or two from each set.

Today was September 11th and Jennifer Baker from MOOSE set up what I could only call an inspirational ceremony to remember the day. The McCaskey High School Choir was amazing, the speakers were moving and the ceremony was the perfect balance of recollection and inspiration.

This past Sunday was the 10th Annual Wheels, Wheels, Wheels car and motorcycle show. I was there in a dual capacity shooting for both MOOSE and the main show sponsor, Schwanger Bros. There’s a lot of nice shots in the gallery.

The day before, like the entire weekend, was quite busy. Saturday kept me going from early in the morning to late that night.

Starting off at Market first thing Saturday morning…

Then closer to home grabbing some quick shots of volunteers cleaning up and painting (all over town) over on James Street for the National Day of Caring…

Then back downtown to Penn Square and Binn’s Park to attend the Anti-Gun Violence Rally…

And then I finished Saturday shooting some stills of a special Wheels, Wheels, Wheels movie night at Binn’s Park.

Friday I grabbed some shots of a duo performing outside of La Casa Bella on Prince Street…

And then on Thursday I shot a home for local Coldwell Banker Realtor Gerry Beane…

Add to that the usual stuff, a couple of print ads and some new work on the WeeBee Audio/Video web site and you have a busy week.

Beer is food (and art)

For the last three days I’ve spent time each day shooting at the 29th Annual Long’s Park Art & Craft Festival. Looking back I can’t say I was anything less than impressed with the collection of artists, the work on display and the overall clockwork precision of the event.

Above is a shot from the Iron Hill Brewery sampling session. If you’re around tomorrow (that’s Monday) and attending the Art & Craft Show, make it a point to be at Pavillion #2 at 2:00 p.m. I promise you it’s the best five bucks you’ve ever spent. Iron Hill’s beer is, simply put, amazing.

If you want to see what I saw then you can click here for Friday, here for Saturday and here for Sunday.
